An exhibition kicked off at SIP Cultural Centre on Nov 7, showcasing 180 works by Chinese seal cutting enthusiasts and professionals. The exhibition, free to the public, will last till Jan 18, 2026.

At the opening ceremony, the theme seal was unveiled, featuring a set of models of SIP’s landmark projects and a holographic prism presentation.

Among the exhibits are 94 works in the “Impression of SIP” category, highlighting SIP’s evolution over the past decades, and 86 in the “Impression of Future” category, reflecting development of the country and improvement of people’s lives.

In addition to seals made of traditional materials such as wood and metal, the exhibits include those created with other materials such as ceramic, resin and glass as well as advanced technologies such as machine engraving, 3D printing and laser cutting.

There is an interaction zone for visitors to experience seal cutting skills and the display of creative cultural products.

It is learned that a series of events will be held during the exhibition to popularize the art of Chinese seal cutting among the public. A public lecture on seal cutting was given on the opening day, guiding the audiences to a deep understanding of the essence and charm of the art.
