
The 2025 Game IP Ecosystem Conference shone the spotlight on SIP’s favorable conditions for game industry. The industrial park has continuously enhanced support for games companies in recent years, providing them with great help for a fast growth.
SIP is now home to about 100 companies engaged in games and software, including many industry-leading ones. For example, FriendTimes Inc, founded in SIP in 2010, quickly grew from a mobile game developer to a multi-business company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Based on SIP’s strong innovation atmosphere, games companies in SIP typically boast extensive use of advanced technologies such as 3D modeling and AI algorithms as well as integration of local cultural elements in their games, which have won the hearts of numerous players at home and abroad.


SIP was declared a “National Cultural Export Base” in 2021, with an increasing number of companies and their products on the country’s list of major cultural exporters and major cultural export projects.

In recent years, SIP has been endeavoring to foster a digital content innovation cluster, empowering high-quality development of the game industry through policies, platform construction, and services. The park is making a three-year action plan for the purpose of driving more prosperous development of game and animation industries.
